صرح معالي المهندس سالم بن ناصر العوفي، وزير الطاقة والمعادن بأهمية هذا الطرح في دعم توجه سلطنة عُمان نحو تعزيز أهمية الاستثمارات الوطنية، حيث يسمح الاكتتاب بامتلاك حصة في الشركة والمساهمة في نموها وبالتالي الاستفادة من المنافع و الأرباح العائدة من الاستثمار.

In light of OQ Exploration and Production’s decision to list 25% of its shares on the Muscat Stock Exchange, His Excellency Eng. Salim bin Nasser Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals, emphasised how crucial this step is for furthering the Sultanate of Oman’s objective and strategy of boosting national investments. He noted that the IPO will allow investors to acquire shares in the company, support its growth, and benefit from the potential returns and profits.
